These programs are centered around our Challenge (Ropes) Course, which is a combination of team-building activities and high element challenges. This experiential learning opportunity includes several cooperative activities which help participants develop their self-confidence, communication, decision making, and team-building skills.
Staff
The single most important factor in any experiential program is the quality of its resource people. Our team-building facilitators offer a blend of maturity, skills, and professional commitment, which have been the keys to our success.
Our program director, Andy Furman, holds a teaching degree in Physical Education & Health and taught and coached at the Jr. High & High School levels. He has been directing camping and experiential learning programs for over 40 years and uniquely blends fun activities with instruction and discussion, resulting in new insights and improved team and social skills.

Texas Adventure Camp
Don’t even think of coming to the “Outback” Adventure Camp unless you are looking for an action-packed, exciting week of fun and adventurous challenges!
This week-long, overnight camp is for boys and girls ages 8 – 17.

OUR MISSION
To provide campers with an exciting, fun, informative, and rewarding “outback” experience; to ensure that the memories and lessons learned will be beneficial both now and throughout their lives.
In light of today’s pressures and challenges placed on our children, we need to continually support and encourage our young people to reach their fullest potential. This means providing them with fun challenges to improve themselves, develop positive attitudes, learn social skills, and help them become better leaders.
The “Outback” Adventure Camp is a “one-of-a-kind” experience. Campers are challenged in ways as never before, bringing out their self-confidence, a strong positive attitude, true leadership skills, and an Aussie-proud smile!
ACTIVITIES
50-foot swings, a 450-foot zip line, paintball, tubing on the Comal River, an overnight campout at Inks Lake, low and high ropes, and much more await to push you to new heights at this summer’s Adventure camps.

Leadership
This experiential learning opportunity offers several cooperative activities, which help campers develop their self-confidence, communication, decision making, and team-building skills. The programs emphasize positive reinforcement and personal responsibility principles. A great program mixed with adventurous fun for ages 8 – 17.
What to bring to the adventure camp…comfortable/casual clothing, sleeping bag/linens for twin bed, pillow, swimsuit, toiletries, river shoes/sandals, tennis or hiking shoes, flashlight w/extra batteries, sunscreen and camera!
